Personal Information Collected or Provided

When you register for an account for the Services or at any later time, we collect certain personal information from you to open an account, transact business, communicate with you, verify your identity and fulfill legal and regulatory requirements. We call this your "Profile". You are giving PELMEL the permission to use and store your personal information consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Transaction Information

We may also obtain your personal information from your transactions with us or other Users through the Services, or from third parties such as credit reporting agencies. Social Media

You can use Facebook Connect to sign up for or sign in to your PELMEL account. This will authenticate your identity and link your Facebook Profile information to your PELMEL account. When you sign in using Facebook Connect, PELMEL will receive the following info: your email address, friend list and public profile. You can disconnect Facebook Connect under your PELMEL account settings page. Services like Facebook Connect give you the option to post information about your activities on this website to your profile page to share with others within your network.

Public Information

Please keep in mind that information you post on portions of the App, Site or Services that are open to the public, including but not limited to our blog, will be public information available to anyone without any expectation of privacy or confidentiality. Information that you provide in these areas may be read, collected, copied, stored and used by others who access them, even if they are removed from the App, Site or Services. Accordingly, you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose information in these areas. To request removal of your personal information from these publicly accessible areas, contact us at privacy@pelmelguide.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information. If so, we will let you know if this is the case and why.

Your Profile will be publically visible. You may change the visibility settings of your Profile on the "Settings" page, or when you take specific actions on the site that provide you the option of anonymity.

Personal testimonials and endorsements together with names of satisfied users are displayed on our App and Site. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial or your name, you can contact us at privacy@pelmelguide.com .

Mobile

When you use our mobile application ("App"), mobile web site, we may receive information about your location and your mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device. We may use this information to provide you with location based services, search results, and other personalized content. Most mobile devices allow you to control or disable location services in the device's setting's menu. If you have questions about how to disable your device's location services, we recommend you contact your mobile service carrier or the manufacturer of your particular device.

Notwithstanding, PELMEL does not accept liability for any unintentional disclosure or a disclosure that occurs due to a security breach of our systems or facilities.

You may do so by making the change on your user account "Settings" page, by contacting the email address listed below. If you no longer desire our service, you may deactivate/delete your account entirely from the account "Settings" page.

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We will also retain and use your Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Electronic Communication, Notification and Opt-Out

We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. We try to keep emails to a minimum and give you the ability to opt out when we can.

We may at times send you e-mail communications, including newsletters, changes to the Services??? features, special offers and promotions. You may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails, making the change on your user account "Settings" page or contacting us at privacy@pelmelguide.com. Please note that opt-out requests may take up to seventy-two (72) hours to process.??Opting out may prevent you from receiving email messages regarding updates, improvements, or offers.
